"When flowers bloom so does hope"~~Lady Bird Johnson

Flowers here in the UAE, especially here in the Garden City, can tell when it's winter time. You'll see them blooming it in the parks, public gardens and even in the island of roads and roundabouts. During the month of July and August, when the temperature can almost turn your face into a bright "baked" red, it is very seldom to see flowers like these.

I snapped this photo at Al Muwaiji District while we were waiting for the "go" signal to cross the road.  My son JM asked me to take a photo of him at the center of these colorful flowers.

Word of the day: warid is the Arabic word for a flower. Salaam!
